Keep it simple and be a hedgehog!

An important lesson for Tasman bags is to stay focused and be a hedgehog.

Meaning being very good in one thing and that is designing and creating bags and sculptures and put them togehter with passion and meaningfullness,

The story: The fox wants to eat the hedgehog. He can think of many ways, but never succeeds. The hedgehog knows one way the defend himself and uses this one trick every time and it works.

This simple little story has a background of philosophical thinkers. The ancient Greek poet Archilochus said that the fox knows many things about a little, but the hedgehog knows one big thing. Philosopher Isaiah Berlin used the fox and hedgehog distinction in his brilliant essay about Leo Tolstoy’s view of history and his longing for a unifying insight and understanding.
